Pak Willy Balawala has been been working for the Solidarity Center for 15 years and is currently a Senior Program Officer of the Solidarity Center – Indonesia and Malaysia Programs. His expertise is in providing technical assistance and supervision of migration and Trade Unions capacity building, organizing and case handling projects being implemented in Indonesia and Malaysia.
Prior to his role at the Solidarity Center, he worked for UNFPA as the Provincial Project Coordinator in NTT.
Pak Will is the founder of Yayasan Kesehatan untuk Semua (YKS) Flores where he worked for more than 6 years as the Executive Director. YKS develops and implements the Zero Breakdown Motorcycles for Rural Health Services since 2002 in East Flores and has received several awards for its achievements. He also serves as a member of trhe Board of Directors of Motorcycle Outreach (MOR) – UK.
Pak Willy Balawala telah bekerja di Solidarity Center selama 15 tahun dan saat ini menjabat sebagai Senior Program Officer di Solidarity Center – Program Indonesia dan Malaysia. Keahliannya dalam memberikan bantuan teknis dan pengawasan migrasi dan pembangunan kapasitas Serikat Pekerja, pengorganisasian dan penanganan kasus proyek yang dilaksanakan di Indonesia dan Malaysia.
Sebelum perannya di Pusat Solidaritas, ia bekerja untuk UNFPA sebagai Koordinator Proyek Provinsi di NTT.
Pak Willy adalah pendiri Yayasan Kesehatan untuk Semua (YKS) Flores dimana beliau bekerja selama lebih dari 6 tahun sebagai Direktur Eksekutif. YKS mengembangkan dan mengimplementasikan Sepeda Motor Zero Breakdown untuk Pelayanan Kesehatan Pedesaan sejak tahun 2002 di Flores Timur dan telah menerima beberapa penghargaan atas prestasinya. Beliau juga menjabat sebagai anggota Board of Directors of Motorcycle Outreach (MOR) – UK.
